The SBMS orchestra will be joined by 9-year-old pianist prodigy, Bethany Reynolds, for the Andante from Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 2.
Mostly Classical

This will be an evening of Classical music… mostly! Much of the programme was composed in and around the Classical era – with one, very modern, exception!
The Symphony
Saturday, 10 May 2025
7:30pm
Join us as we explore Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7. The evening will include a talk with musical excerps, followed by full performance of the symphony.
Classical Music on Film

It’s an evening at the movies! Including Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries, and Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with soloist Thérèse Miller.
